Sharks give 10 less exp than monkfish and are 14 levels higher and take longer to fish. I have suggested that they raise the exp givin from sharks. If you agree please use quick find code 24-25-285-32775619 and support this suggestion on the RS official forums. Thanks :)

aware that monkfish require a difficult quest to fish? I like monkfish, they're good healing, not as good as sharks of course, but they are good exp and fast.

The reason why sharks dont give as much xp when fishing than monks is because sharks sell for 900-1000gp each. While Monkfish have a much harder market. It would affect the economy if sharks gave 10xp more.

Instead of increasing xp on sharks,decrease xp from monkfishes

the exp of both fish were done intentionally.

if they were really lower than shark exp..... nobody would really fish it as much.
