I'm most glad they admitted the decline of run escape ... and how they just now dropped it. It doesn't bother me that the population declined... but I would love to hear about the health of runescape. Sometimes the amount of secrecy they keep I find silly. There is no reason why telling the truth is bad. For [bleep]s sake... its a game. If the bots are too hard to ban... tell us. Don't hype up a bot measure that will end all bots, only to fall short. I'm curious what percent of revenue the microtransactions make up the whole. Can we expect additional hires with this? Or is this to make up previous player loss and just "catch jagex back up to zero". Random question... is ivp publicly traded? Would love to buy stock.

I want to log into the concentrated coal / gold areas on this update... bots...bots nowhere.

I would highly recommend tip it users to not use the account guardian until it is updated down the road. Because you can't change the answers or look them up again, if you 1) get keylogged - the hacker will forever have access to your account 2) you will never beable to change your answers and you will be at their mercy.

This is very true ~ also be known that the firm is being run by former Goldman Sachs - and IVP has a big hold in runescape... pretty much it is about cashflow now.... not about game play. They want their quick profit so their CEO can get their bonus.

Yes feb-2002 is earliest record which is confirmed (I get it on day 1) and in other news - I get them all bahahaha I should get the 10 year cape on a few accounts. A few lvl 3's too. I'm going to troll so hard on my level 3's... hahaha

Teleport spells are a fail. South falador? Why not use lumby ring... Ardougne teleport? We already have a teleport nearby to fishing spot... and we could just use the ardougne cape.

I have every holiday item. At one point I lost members and I couldn't do easter one year... because to go down the rabbit hole your inventory had to be empty.... however I wasn't willing to lose my inventory items to get the carrot, so I missed out on the item, however later when I did the halloween event, I was rewarded with both the halloween item... and a carrot. So I lucked out. Of all the holiday items... scythe is definitely my favorite. Logdotzip... aren't they going to start deleting really old characters who have no skills over 30 who have never had members?.... Maybe that really old account of yours will disappear... lol

I'm not sure the golden age of runescape is what you will call it. I've played the game since around 2002 and have stayed pretty quiet normally... but the GE and removal of the wilderness was one of the best things that has ever happened to runescape. Yes, you heard lots of complaining, but the complaining came from the loudest, most arrogant people. These are the people who caused 90% of the problems in runescape with scamming/hacking/luring/ect. Since the changes a few years back, runescape has become a lot more pleasant game to play, although many of us had to adapt quite a bit. Lets just say, if this "golden age" of runescape comes, prepare for the forums on tip.it and rsof as well as all of ingame chat to be flooded with the following: 1 People being scammed relentlessly. Now that there is a way to trade unlimited amounts of cash, drop trading ect will exist.... and thus a reason to scam will exist. 2 We will see more keyloggers and password scams emerge, as getting their password now potentially leads to millions and millions of gp. I for one have put my pin in place as there is now an increased risk. 3 Luring. Lots of it. And with luring. Complaining, even more. Sure for one side they just got a free 200k. But for the other side, who lost their stuff, they lost almost their entire bank. 4 Free trade and merchants attempting to buyout the GE with an attempt to sell it for outrageous prices beside the GE. "The GE doesn't have it... but we do! Buy from us!" 5. Begging. No trade limit = there is a reason to beg. I have been getting fed up recently with effigies as people stand in banks saying "anybody 97 rc please?" "anybody 97 rc please?" "anybody 97 rc please?" "anybody 97 rc please?" First off, nobody was complaining about that here, but mainly I really doubt that they will add non-pvp worlds. Ya, very unlikely they would add non-pvp worlds. PVP will only be in the wilderness unless they decide to have world wide pvp worlds. If they made non-PVP worlds, people would fill those worlds completely up so there was no risk of going into the wilderness. It would be sad to see the reverants go though, I hope they relocate them somewhere just so we can kill them for fun. Maybe a "PVP training" area.... they already have crap drops, so why not? ... Hmmm... All those firemaking gloves/agility gloves ect people have... wonder how we will get those now. Would be nice to see skillers get those not PVP based people. I guess they will just be additional items dropped upon kills if somebody was risking a significant amount? Maybe like a reward for a good kill? But then people would just kill each other over and over with friends trying to get gloves ect, as you wouldn't really lose any cash by doing it. Now you at least lose 76k ect. If you were farming for gloves, you would essentially lose nothing if you could stay away from other PKers.

A few things I'm not sure of... moving the chaos tunnels because of pkers. Wherever they move it can't be better than where it was. The run from edgeville was SO convenient! Made Bork, fire giant, and dust devils very quick to get to. Didn't treasure trails exist before when PVP existed? I'm not entirely sure but I remember always being super nervous going into the wildy to do my clues. Not sure why they would change it now. A few things to look out for. Green hides and dragon bone prices will sky rocket if pvp is still there! Food will also go up too obviously. If they allow extreme potions herbs will skyrocket again, even though in the past few weeks herbs have been dropping like rocks. I would like to see Jagex return pure ess and regular ess into ONE ess again. As you may remember they separated them a long time ago because pure essence was targeted by botters and was an easy way for them to profit. However, lately rune crafting profits have seemed to slump. If they revert all of these changes they need to revert the pure and regular essence change to increase profits once again. I can see blood and death and chaos prices going up quite a bit but I assume nature prices will not change as much. What other changes can we expect? And what other things do we need to make sure Jagex gets right? I think if they bring back the wilderness we won't be seeing it until March or April. However this would be the PERFECT TIME for Jagex to fix the combat triangle. Or even bring forth the long overdue smithing changes! Maybe add an additional skill/ability such as the ability to imbue armor and weapons.
