Aye, but I am hoping that this scenario was far back when there were less ways to catch real world trading, I'm assuming that while there will be a few people who sell gold at high levels and with older accounts due to the fact they have so much to lose, and those that have the ability to buy gold will hesitate as their accounts will be a year old or more and they have quite a bit to lose too (their runescape account plus the money they paid on ebay), they will be quickly caught now a days. Also remember, with the current system, there is no stopping gil farms from simply selling accounts..... this might be a hole they need to plug somehow.

Oh I know everybody is just looking for any excuse to just get their trading back, so this might seem like a good idea, but if any of you can point out some flaws in my logic and perhaps offer suggestions to fix it that would be super!

i like how they say they will drop "valuble runes"... i mean, runes aren't that expensive.... i doubt they are worth the food/trouble.... especially if the best item you can get is a dragon dagger.. i'd just run

Jagex then decided to allow no new people to create accounts to play on RSC, even members. This stategy could be adapted by Jagex in this situation, slightly modified, allowing older players to have privilages, such as the ability to play RSC now. I assume most real world trading accounts last no more than a month, they just create them over and over to gain money. What if there was a system in place that after 1 month paying for membership your able to trade more than 50,000 difference in price every hour, after 2 months perhaps 100,000 difference in price every hour.. ect ect until 1 year you have no trade restrictions. This trade privilages would only work if both people in the trade had trade privileges, and if both have different levels of privileges, the member with the lower level would regulate the trade. For example, Zezima who has unlimited trade privilages decides to trade with Lightning (lets say he has had an account with members for 2 months). Even though Zezima has unlimited, they can only trade 100,000 differerence in gold (which is 2 months of membership). If Zezima and Condor85 (in which I had my account for a few years) we would beable to trade freely, as Jagex would be fairly certain we are not real world traders. If you were to end membership, you wouldn't beable to trade using these privilages, however your account age would still be in place, so once you pay for membership again, you wouldn't have to start off going to 1 month at 50,000 then 2 months at 100,000 ect ect. This would bring trust back into runescape because if somebody paid for 12 months in order to make a trade and was banned, they would lose their account. Real world traders wouldn't beable to create year old accounts because stolen credit cards are usually detected in the first month, in which the account would be banned and all the bots that mine/woodcut/fish wouldn't beable to trade more than 3000 gil worth of raw materials to the master account anyway, since they would all be under the trade restrictions. =========================================== This might be a bit of a stretch, but I think it may be a solution that is viable for both Jagex and their customers (us). Let me know what you guys think and leave any comments. Try to find some flaws in my logic and possible remedys to them so we can make this idea as best as possible. oh it'll only be like this for a day or two toast... 99 has always been the official world... people are just anxious to do it for a bit... stop trying to change something thats perfectly fine. if you change tip.it to another world it'll fill up fast as well... there are a lot of people in tip.it and eventually that world will get full as well.
