Aren't platinum fansites suppose to get their own teaser every week now?.... Hm...

Look at 1:24... notice when they hit not only does it say "Miss" but beside some of the damage it shows a melee or range icon.... weird!

This has been my most awaited update for the longest time. It would be cool if you went in and the city was completely reverted to seed form, and you had to some how create the city again. I just don't want the city to end up not being used... there needs to be something BIG there (also a teleport on the normal spellbook?) that will help people utilize the city. This needs to be the big boy grandmaster quests of all quests! And an epic and extremely useful reward to go with it! (Like anything I touch turns to partyhats)

Sorry if I am being a party pooper here but are we really having a grammar discussion on a runescape board? Yes, grammar will make many places better, however, in the gaming community bad grammar and leet speak is common and in fact helps differentiate our communities from others. Personally, I would be sad to see it go.

This is untrue. What "old days" of RS are you talking about? Even from early classic, most months were full of updates. At the start of each months, they told you all the updates they were planning, and each week after that they would implement it. There was never "months without updates".

I'm considering buying a few tickets to get some codes.... and sell them on ebay a few years down...

yup, so Jagex is following other MMORPG's footsteps and having the redeem code for that item for the people who spend a thousand dollars flying over to UK. Classy Jagex.

They aren't inconsistent positions. Try actually thinking about it. Now it's just easy slow xp, instead of hard slow xp =]

I agree, if they do micro payments I'm OUT. Even for "stupid items" persay. Every player needs to have the same opportunity to get all items within the game. I have a feeling that players that go to this "Runefest" are going to get promotional codes to get a "special" item to commemorate them going to the event. Usually thats how MMORPG's do this thing. I would hope Jagex doesn't follow the mold and just copy this though. Holiday items? Not every player have the same opportunity mate. Sure they did. All they had to do was log on, "Mate".

I refuse to read 12 pages of topic, so tell me if this was already mentioned but... Wasn't this skill promised like in 2006? There was a "what to expect this year" with "group quests" and "unique quests" in which the quest is dynamically made on the spot? I'm sure you hardcore people can find the post... it was made on a Jan 1 back when they use to do that stuff.

the drop off is because you can now get a good 10k vials in about 8 minutes. half water filled, half regular.
