When I was f2p on classic I was fishing at barbarian village then some lvl 50+ (high at the time for me) came up and said, "here, take this holy trout, protect it and you will be rewarded". I took it. About 1 hour later he came back because I was still fishing and he was like "i have came for the holy trout place it in my royal hand" and he gave me 10k... I thought I was soooo rich. :3>

the exp of both fish were done intentionally. by making the exp of monkfish high... people fish them. if they were really lower than shark exp..... nobody would really fish it as much.

Well, according to runescape legend... somebody else can fill the information out... but this one guy owned all the dragon items. and when he died... all the dragon items were dropped in runescape... but just like any other player... he kept his 3 most valuble items. 1) Dragon Plate 2) Dragon Full Helm 3) Dragon 2H Those items... supposedly, won't ever be released. But Jagex broke its own lore... and released the D2H. So... I guess the other two are possible to get one day... sure.

I concider the greatest accomplishment something that a player wants more than anything else, and thus strives to achieve it. For me, its killing the most dangerous of beasts. For some players its collecting the most ammount of cabbages.

Well, to be honest... this month really doesn't get me too excited. I was hoping for a little bit... more? I guess Witchhaven is what I'm looking forward to.

Discuss the new update! Yes, September is here already and we've filled it with some really exciting stuff! We kick off the month with the next chapter of the Morytania storyline. The new Myreque base in Burgh de Rott seems to be safe for now, although some of the locals still succumb to the ravages of nearby Vampyres. Without more help, surely there's nothing that the Myreque can do? Or is there? Veliaf has an ambitious plan to try and gain entry into the Vampyre-ruled lands of the Sanguinesti region. With some small amount of luck, there may still be some resistance hidden away in the murky depths... The ghetto of Meiyerditch has been built, destroyed and rebuilt so many times that the streets and alleyways connect to the roofs in a maze-like web of broken doorways and shattered dreams. Only an adventurer with the agility skills of a cat and the eyes of a hawk will be able to take on this task, especially when trying to evade the demanding, ever-watching Vyrewatch who patrol the skies above... The free world and the members' world alike will benefit from the introduction of the Lumbridge Guides, a collection of experts in the skills of RuneScape. New players will find them a very useful source of information, especially when they are giving out limited numbers of free runes and arrows and replacing your low-level starting equipment if you lose it. We're also introducing a free teleport for less experienced players to return to Lumbridge if they get lost, and some useful advice if you find yourself at the wrong end of a goblin spear... The guides offer advice to more experienced players too, so you might find one or two level-up messages advising you to go and get more information from these guides.
