Nazgul740
Anyway i recently got a new computer that is connected throuhg a linksys home network to the internet... I had just gotten it and left it on in my room... Much to my dismay I came back after getting some cheesy toast (got to love that stuff!!) and my bro had somhow turned of the internet for my computer but not the rest of the house... I do have a firewall and such but he didn't fiddle with those as i shut down both programs and the computer still couldn't get on the internet... The rest of the house still has internet axcess ( :x ) Anyway i saw him shut off command prompt right before i got to him so it probably has somthing to do with that... Any help would be nice :D And p/s i can't ask him and such and such as A. he is camping this weekend and B. he wouldn't tell me anyway and my parents don't care New sigzor^^
zonda
start >> settings >> network connections He prolly just disabled your wireless card / LAN ethernet stuff. Just double click it if it says disabled and it should reenable it. ...

I love when people mess with your computer then claim they touched nothing ro did everything properly when its obvious they messed somethign up  maybe you could try setting teh whole thing up from scratch again, ie uninstall everything to do with your wirelsss netowrk and start again? Mazurizi
He possibly blocked the router from sending signals to your computer. Try loading up the Router settings on the computer that he was on when it stopped working.

Liquid_Morph
Linux boot disk, change his password gain access, configure internet settings. Or ask him? Unplug the Linksys Router, grab all the cables. Shove them in your bed covers or something and get your brother or make your parents tell your brother to tell you how to fix it. Untill then, none of them get the internet. :D
