TotalTalker
Hey guys, I thought of a new skill, i dont really know what it could be called, but its sort of a traveling skill. Instead of just walking and running everywhere, how about having different ways of travelling around runescape? At level one, you can just go around on a bouncy ball or something, and then about level 50, you can have a magical carpet, and about level 80, you can fly in the sky on a dragon? Of course there would be more ways, but them ones are only a few. Post your comments please. Thanks.

captianant
not to be mean, but you'd baisically be giving walking a skill. There already ways to travel quickly around Gilenor, such as: The Gnome Glider System, The Spirit Tree System, the magic carpets south of Al Karhid, the cannoes, teleporting, WALKING? I think yes, it would be cool to have some things to where you could travel faster to wherever you want, it would still be a cool add on, not a new skill. Sodb ForumStop thinking. It's Runescape. ieatpie
Or...you could just walk, teleport, or use all those member shortcuts that I don't know about.
TotalTalker
The point? The point would be to get around quicker, and its also a cool way to get around. Also, you wouldnt get xp by just walking, that would be too easy.

Also, you wouldnt get xp by just walking, that would be too easy. oh, well yeah we have teleport spells, run ( with rapid restore and agility ), member transport systems that are unknown to me, and agility shortcuts. We really dont need a way to get around faster. Now, have a guy riding a dragon across the world would become a probelm by causing massive lag. Ever wonder why our charecters aren't bigger than they are? If this was in form of a prayer or spell ( doubles speed of running ) that would be acceptable. Last word, if you dont get exp by walking how do you get exp??? ~It's Super Effective! blitzkerig0
This has been suggested so many times i have lost count. If you are f2p then you have no need for it because you can only go so far. For members there are so many ways to move about today. I have managed to connect the gnome gliding/gnome trees/fairy rings into a massive transit system that can take me anywhere I want with limits of course. Despite the fact that it would be cool to see a person riding a dragon we have enough transportation systems already. Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, why should we let them have ideas. - Joseph Stalin (1878-1953)
