Feldron
The cook in Lumbridge Castle kitchen, has discovered in his great grand fathers journal, his families sercert ingredent. When added to most foods it enhances it greatly. (sadly does not work well with fish) Example prepare food - add secert ingredent - cook food 50% chance of it being a Delicous food The example of results is Delicous Reberry Pie. 1*5 +1 defence 1*4 +1 defence Delicous Garden Pie. 2*7 +4 Gardening Basically its +1-2 Hp Healed +1-3 Skill bonus or additional +1 to bonus already given This Serect Ingredent would require a earning it through a cooking mini game. The skill bonuses should be not much compared to a potion just a small bonus. The time invested in the mini game should off set any additional bonuses the food has. I was looking at this for food that requires prep work and not fish so to give the foods requiring longer amounts of time to make a better bonus. Again you would still have the mini game and time spent gain the secret ingredent to off set the bonuses it gives. This i think would balance the foods requiring prep work with fish a little more, as well as adding more for cooks to do and have fun with their skill. Stallion4589
if things like pies and cakes could be enhanced, it would also shift cooking away from fish back towards the multi-step foods, an argument always brought up by rsc players. Feldron
Yeah just playing trouble brewing and thought that if they would do some thing like that with food rather then just brewing it would be nice the mini game i think would be like you gather ingredents - prepare and cook dishes - finish touches to dishes to make them look good Then take them to have them to be judged and score points the food is on tables etc in middle with a few things in the other sides kitcen and so forth Could call it Cheif's Challenge
Buckeyemange
Great Idea! How about this, if added to fish, the fish would become " Food-poisoned fish" or "Ill fish" Both of which would make you lose a skill level and not heal health. But what happenens if you add the seasoning to a fish pie? :-k The GES, the only clan ruled by a Goat. "How did it start? I mean, did one kid just yell out lets have sex!"" MikelP
I like =D> =D> . Cooking fish is far too prominent. I remember slaving away in classic making apple pies for my healing. It was great and gave a sense on satisfaction. I was so happy when I made it into the cooking guild with its apple spawns and windmill.
