November 8, 200619 yr Hi, I need some advice please. I am contemplating attempting to finish the FREMENNIK TRIALS quest. Firstly, I have done all of the trials apart from the Thorvald the Brave part where I need to defeat Koschei the Deathless. I haven't tried this part yet, because when I did the rest of the quest I was a fairly low combat level. What I want to know, is do you think I could defeat Koschei the Deathless with my current stats (see link below in my sig) or should I keep training my combat to a higher level? Also, in the Tip.It quest guide, it mentions you can die to the last re-incarnation and miss out on the sword, but still complete the quest. Is the sword really worth having, or should I not worry about dying in the final fight? P.S. Any tips for the fight? Thanks. Cheers, ThreeRivers1 99 Attack at 102 Combat. :DNow training fletching... ;)
November 8, 200619 yr You'll do fine. What I recommend for you to do is to go in with a bunch of food and several Rings of Recoil. It when you need to for the first two stages, then turn on Protect from Melee and take down the third stage. The sword is a rare drop from Fremminiks, so if you want it try to take out the fourth stage. If you don't, just turn prayer off and let his fourth stage kill you. Expecting a good life because you're a good person is like expecting a bull not to charge because you're a vegetarian.
November 8, 200619 yr Yup, I died on the forth stage pretty quick. He hits super fast. 8,325th to 99 Firemaking 3/9/08 | 44,811th to 99 Cooking 7/16/084,968th to 99 Farming 10/9/09 | Runescaper August 2005-March 2010Tip.it Mod Feb. 2008-Sep. 2008 | Tip.it Crew Sep. 2008-Nov. 2009
November 8, 200619 yr You can bring prayer pots and on protect melee all the way, for fourth stage use lots of ring of recoils Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
