November 10, 200619 yr As part of a plan to both help educate newer members, and to convince people to become members, on tutorial island, I suggest there be a small "member's tour." The basic idea would be that it would give players a chance to see some members skills. (Note: Non of these would give exp, to prevent people from sitting there getting a level 99 thieveing F2P.) There would be different trainers, like a thieving trainer, which tells you a bit about thieving and shows you how to disarm chests and pickpocket people, and an agility trainer, where you have to get past a small obstacle. The other one I would suggest if fletching, letting you make a few arrows (15), using tools they give you. I probably wouldn't put in construction, herblore (because you need quest), slayer, or farming, because those would be harder to show off easily (farming because of time constraints). Comments? Suggestions? Flaming? P2P forever!... Or at least 'til <insert excuse here> happens98% of people have signatures with made up statistics in them. If you're one of the 2% that doesn't, copy this and add it to your signature.
November 10, 200619 yr i'm assuming they were going to putthis in, but now with the kbase, there isn't the greatest need anymore. If anything they should have skill tutors. Click for mah Blog!- I'm not sure why you would though because i never update it Achieved 99 Thieving 3/10/07-992nd to it

November 10, 200619 yr Knowledge Base Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, why should we let them have ideas. - Joseph Stalin (1878-1953)
November 11, 200619 yr It's a nice idea, and they could get some more members joining from it. But i think most people considering members know a decent amount about the skills involved anyway Currently not active on RuneScape.
November 11, 200619 yr Who actually looks in the K-Base? (I know, most of you do. But how many newbs? And how many F2Pers go look in the P2P sections?) And to be honest, the K-Base can be a little confusing at some points. When I became a member, even with the K-Base, I still didn't understand the concept of some of the skills. I'd say tutors would be fine, just have one member tutor at Taverly Gate. He'd tell F2Pers about all the benefits of becoming a member, and would explain basic stuff to (new) members.
