Wealth at Dusties

I know this is a dumb and frequantly asked question, but should I bring a wealth when fighting dust devils?

I heard it infact lowers your chances since it increases chance of a rare drop, but dragon chain is a very rare drop, so I'm not sure.

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advanced. :)

Don't. The dragon chain is a rare drop but not EXTREMLy rare from them. It will lower ur chaces by a bit. If you want other good loot, then ware it

A ring of wealth in my experience not only incresses the chance of getting a very rare drop (like d chain) but of semi rare ones as well. So I always take it.

See, that's why I'm never sure :( I think I'll wait for more people to answer.

Take it with you. Saying that that the chain is super rare and ring of wealth only works for regular rare, that is some seriously twisted logic. And it probably comes from people who only kill dusties to get a chain and are disappointed because the RoW didn't give it to them within 1.000 kills.

It's highly unlikely you'll get the drop. Enjoy the great combat xp and the other decent drops the dusties give you. But don't hold out for the chain. If you do get it, you'll be all the more happy.

The only way to prove the effectiveness of a ROW at dust devils would be to kill an ungodly amount of them. (Think in the millions). This is due to the rarity of a D-Chain drop. (At least 10000-1).

So just wear it as jagex has claimed that it helps get rare drops and a D-Chain is definitely a rare drop. There is really no negative to wearing a ROW as wearing one isn't going to decrease your chances of getting a D-Chain.

I take my row off only when I need my rol (for new quests) or my ring of charos. I even do barrows with it, lol (no, it does NOT help, I just usually don't care to look for another ring and have no need for a rol). The slot is basically worthless for combat stats (+4 strength is maybe 2-3 damage extra in a single kill, which is likely not going to matter much) so you might as well take Jagex's advice and keep that badboy on.

PM me in game to use some skills of mine (glories/potions) free or to ask a question.
