Alternative Process of Planking with Balloons

This idea was made by Foodfight13. If this idea has been posted before by someone else, it is pure coincidence and not plagurism(stealing someone's ideas and taking credit for them).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements:

 

 

 

-Compelted Enlightened Journey Quest

 

 

 

-Completed Varrock and Castle Wars Routes

 

 

 

-1 willow log(1 for every trip)

 

 

 

-Ring of Dueling(equipped)(1 for every 8 trips you plan to take)

 

 

 

-Money for Planking

 

 

 

-21-26 logs to be turned into Planks(depends on your weight)

 

 

 

-Boots of Lightness and no excess weight. Spotter and Spottier Capes will also help if they are available to you.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Process:

 

 

 

1. Get to Castlewars in any way

 

 

 

2. Withdraw items

 

 

 

3. Run outside to balloon and fly to Varrock

 

 

 

4. Walk about 7 steps to Saw-mill operator, buy planks

 

 

 

5. Teleport to Castlewars with Ring of Dueling

 

 

 

6. Repeat

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This method should be pretty efficient. All suggestions and comments are welcome, but keep it positive. You can ONLY get 21 planks per trip because of the weight limitations. This can be used by people who don't want to walk back and forth between Varrock Bank nor brave the dangers of the abyss. People who don't want to use rings of dueling may use a willow log and a yew log(with only 20 planks per trip), but this is more expensive. Thanks.

You could also just get a butler.. You end up paying about 350gp per plank instead of 250 but the entire process of changing into plank and then using it take around 10-15 secs.

Yes, this has been posted before, and is almost identical to ur guide. It works, but it is much betetr to get a butler, also you can;t do it with oak aswell because of weight

You could also just get a butler.. You end up paying about 350gp per plank instead of 250 but the entire process of changing into plank and then using it take around 10-15 secs.

But then you have to pay 5k every once in awhile. And you still have to teleport from the bank to your house(maybe walk if you live in Yanille).

Ok I had to edit some things because you can only carry 40kg per trip. This doesn't make it as efficient, because you can only get 21 planks per trip.

if you have a high woodcutting lvl, you can cut your oaks right at the plank area. It only takes an extra 30 seconds with 60+ wc (d wc axe recommended). This eliminates the 21 log requirement.

i've been cutting my oak logs near the plank maker for a long time. I personally find it much more convenient. I also wear an earth tiara and bring a load of normal rune ess since its convenient and the earth altar is right near the plank cutter.
