November 24, 200619 yr i want to have 1 def for my new member pure with a dds and d scimmy. but to get d scimmy u gotta do monkey madness. and the reward says 35k or 20k in def. can i finish the quest without getting this extra exp? please say how sure u are as i dont want to ruin my pure.

November 24, 200619 yr No, you won't get EXP upon finishing it UNLESS you talk to a gnome afterwards named Daero, who will train you in a few skills (one of them being Defense).

November 25, 200619 yr Author as usual im getitng mixed results. the guide says u get the extra exp after u talk to the king. but it also says the quest is done after u talk to the king. im pretty sure the exp is optional but i need somebody to say there absolutly sure i can beat it without the def points. and is there some report happy person here? that post didnt deserve a report.
November 25, 200619 yr I've done the quest. When you talk to the king, you get NO DEFENSE XP WHATSOEVER. Do NOT talk to Daero: he WILL give you 20k DEFENSE XP. [Admin Edit: No naming names in a negative light]
