icecube
Well you're almost to this point.. I heard that box trapping Chinchompas while also catching butterflies is good exp. You'll need 53 hunting though.

Malhavok
If you can find a good or empty area, set a deadfall and as many snares as possible and net butterfly when possible. Geaux Tigers ! Congrats on a great year !
Jock66600
A long way to go but you could try pitfalls, I suggest Horned graahks, but still can get crowded, and there is also deadfalls, getting a torch and smoking the trap and then baiting it with their own meat. Logs are hard to get there so I would suggest bring your own logs. I prefer oaks because you can auto cut and unlike normal trees its 1 chop. Oaks because if your getting a big amount its best to get something witch (spell check) requires less effort. Hope this helps.
Esh
What I did was take a bird trap with me when I was in the desert. I placed it in between the two net traps I was running. Having to take care of three traps, especially one that you have to actually dispose of bones and meat (I keep feathers) didn't leave me any time to get board. Also since you still have two net traps the exp still rolls in fast. If I couldn't run two net traps I didn't train as it burned water faster than it was worth. I will tell you this the situation doesn't get any better when you move to red lizards(well you don't burn water so I guess it does get a little better), there is still to few trees and to many hunters. I actually went from 57 to 59 on black kibbits because I got so sick and tired of all the selfishness at the desert trees. I was hoping things would be better once I got to reds but I hit the same problems at red as I did at orange. As it sounds like you're getting tired of hunting right now it might be best to go and work on something different till the initial buzz dies down. I'm going to see how things are during the week and if things don't get better I'm going back to training for legends. I thought about butterflies combined with deadfall or box trap myself but the high butterflies aren't near the high deadfall or box trap. And exactly where do you get spicy chopped tomatoes? icecube
I don't believe you need the bait to box trap Chinchompas, but I don't know aboute butterflies in relations to them. I just heard it was excellent exp from some others, and haven't had time to try it out for myself.
