i cant upload an avatar cos its 10kb and some other ppl have same one but diiferent staus but it wont let me up load it??? please tell me post here or pm in game

If the only problem is that the file size is two large, you could try a few different things:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

* Reduce the amount of colours used in the picture

 

 

 

* Reduce the size

 

 

 

* Make sure the file is in .GIF not PDF or JPG or anything else

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And make sure that the actual avatar mathes the pixel size limitations.

As for to make it GIF.. Try pasting it into a picture editing program and resaving it as a GIF file. I don't have the Paint program myself (which all Windows computers have, I believe), but if you have that, I think you should be able to open the image in Paint, then resave it as a GIF.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Or if you have Photoshop, which is what I use, open the image up in Photoshop, select "Save for Web" and simply select the option "GIF" while saving it.

try uploading it to imageshack or somthing then upload it on tip it using the url

You need to copy and paste the location of the picture on your computer onto an image hoster site like imageshack.us, to be able to use it online.

For siggehs and avvies, the best file to save it in is png. It reduces the file size quite radically, but does not reduce the quality. Both my siggeh and avvy uses png format (not sure about userbar).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To save this in a different format, open the pic in something like paint and go to save as, then below where you type the file name, click and choose png.
