Hm I was thinking could I skip the whole maze part and go to the death altar through the abyss? I also read about there being a shortcut in the underground pass near Klank. I think I spelled that name wrong. I don't want the death talisman. ASAP because I don't want to bump this thread much.

*EDIT* Thanks that helps a lot, um ok then I guess a mod can lock this thread now.

No, both the shortcut and access to the death altar are only available once you meet Thorgel the Dwarf, meaning you do have to do the maze. Buying or already having a Death Talisman just eliminates the 50 item scavanger list that you have to do at the end.

Otherwise the Quest would be really easy, instead of one of the hardest quests in RS.

ice is right (heh sounds like "the price is right), you have to do the entire maze, noooo way around it. There is a shortcut in the underground pass, however you have to get to the death altar. But some advice, instead of going through the front of the pass, go through the isafdar entrance and fall in the cracks if u can still with low agility. Otherwise just follow till u get back...when u fall you will be in the souless area and just head to the dwarves. I expereinced this when i forgot to switch the last light pillar back on the door..so i couldn't go through. Thus i had to go through klank's place.

hm... use barrows to drop your agility really low, then go and do the shortcut?
