farming growth times

Featured Replies

ive started planting multiple trees daily recently and ive noticed that the tree growth times seem to be way off... i dont know what exactly is going on but...

the guide says willows take 220 minutes to grow... i farm my tree seeds first thing when i log on and so far it seems that the willows are taking more along the lines of 360 minutes... i have no idea why

i kept auguste's sapling since the quest... would that have remotely anything to do with it?

anybody else farm enough to notice this? or is it just me...

ill try some more with a few other seeds... but this happened since i started farming enough tree seeds to take notice....

i dont farm herbs that often but i might start checking cuz of this... it seems very very odd though

Jagex must have changed them, no biggie, just plant new trees 1ce a day and you wont have to deal with it.

I like to plant new trees before I log off for a while, cause they grow even when offline.

I'll go with Ryan. Just plant one each day.

I found that as well. I was working on a farming tool that u plant the tree and find about how much it grow using growing times (check my web-site for the tool). I used tip it growing times and it is way off. for oak tree it is at least 30min more then it said. if you know the right grow time I will love to know what the right ones so I can fix my tool.

Visit my web-site http://www.saam007.com.

Where you can find: Runescape Home Designer, Runescape Farming Tool, Runescape Sudoku Solver and how to pay membership while playing.

There isn't any specific time at all. Compost and super compost both speed up the growth times, but it is still quite random.

When Farming was first released it had growth times in the knowledge base, but because of all the different factors that vary the amount of time taken for something to grow, they removed them, I also think times have changed slightly since then anyway.

Tip It's times are just the ones that used to be in the knowledge base. ;)

it's random because I always plant 4 fruit trees at 4 seperate spots a day. Next day 1 tree would be riped while the others would take hours afterwards. Frustrates the hell out of me but oh well.

i did a test... the super compost thing was the problem... i did 2 sets of maple trees

the ones that i used super compost on grew at the same rate listed on the tip.it forums

the one that i used no compost on grew at almost half the speed

thx for helping me clear everything up!

sorry to make this more complicated.. but treegrowingtimes have changed already a few months ago.. This was confirmed to me also by a Jagex-mod.. I've written this in a thread (sorry, searchengine isnt helping me atm) somewhere in september..

My daily routine of checking trees was ruined by this change, because fruittrees now often need more than 24 hours before fully grown.
