December 1, 200619 yr Well... I finally decided to do this, which i've been wanting to for a long time. And since I'm no good at line work and can't make my own pixel art, the next best thing, classic, old games. Here you'll see: - types of grass - brick-like walls - clouds - water Also notice how only the 3rd game (tiny toons) used black outlines, and only on some items. ENJOY! :ohnoes: Techmo Superbowl II Tm and © Techmo.LTD.1994 Thunder Force 4 © Technosoft. 1992 Tiny Toons Adventure Buster's Hidden Treasure © Konami. 1993 ToeJam & Earl ©JVP.1991 Traysia © Telenet Japan.1992 Turrican © Accolade.1991 Two Crude Dudes © Data East Corp.1991 O:) More to come if I get enough support/ encouragement.

December 1, 200619 yr Author lol i like the name of the tut but no offence dude it doesnt look like at tutorial ur not explaining anything just added screenies of old games with zoom-ins I never used the word "tutorial" because I never planned on showing step and whatnot, the purpose of the zoom-ins is to show what different types of grass, water, clouds, and etc. you can make. Mostly this was made to show how to make different textures, in no way is this a complete pixeling guide. EDIT: so, basically, ur calling pictures of games (which r prolly copyright) and saying there ur tut? shame on u :notalk: First off, woah I haven't seen you around in a while. I never called it tut. Nor did I claim the pictures of the games as my own work. If you're not satisfied and would rather have me post the names of the games I will :? EDIT2: Copyrights to games posted. All copyrights are over 11 years old

December 1, 200619 yr Author text text text text im famous? the bevel and emboss border on ur sig is too big. and i just seen 'guide'. oopsies? but ya u shouldnt just post screenies of randm games ;p Eh. I might get around to makeing a new sig or maybe changing this one if I have the PSD. and they're not completely random, as they do have a use to beggining pixelers.
December 2, 200619 yr To guide you need to guide. I assume that to teach you need mastery in the knowledge of what you are teaching. Here it just looks like you are going 'Here are a bunch of pictures, it's obvious how to replicate the style'. I think it would be better if you posted step-by-step picture of how you can get from a basic blank canvas to such textures as grass, and the other textures you zoomed in on.
