twr_phr33k Posted December 3, 2006 Share Posted December 3, 2006 Usually I think the harder my clues are (ex: I once had to solve 2 puzzles, go out to wildy, kill 2 Sara mages), the better my rewards will be, but I was wrong. Turns out I got rune platebody, longsword and a few runes with it. icecube Posted December 3, 2006 Author Share Posted December 3, 2006 Well I'm more wondering as to when the game sets your clue reward for your clue, not the randomness of the reward items. Might be more clear if I explained my intentions: I want to save a level 3 clue for when the new 100+ treasure trail items come out, but am wondering if it will give me items from the old reward set? Ya I could but I'm the lazy, don't-like-to-move-around, runescape kinda guy. I mostly train skills, not that effectively if I say so myself, and don't do combat much :XD: . Surely if it was going to be more than 1 week away, Jagex wouldn't have used the term "we will kick straight off with" in the BTS;) As to when it's determined... Hmmm... Yeah, it probably isn't able to be known until you test it out... Though logically the clues that already exist should carry over and have a chance of getting the new items.
