December 5, 200619 yr Ok, I plan on getting 99 fletching. I'll need to make 75,770 strung bows. I was thinking about alching all the bows, which would would end me up at 91 (level 73 right now). I would get all the money back if I buy yews at 300ea, nats 300ea, and bowstrings at 170ea. The reason I was gonna do this is because I would be trying to train my magic to 99 eventually anyways, so I may as well get it to there then. Do you think this is a good idea or no?

December 5, 200619 yr But if you buy something at the price of say 165 per string you could make yourself a nice 5 gp profit. 5 x 200k = 1 mil, that pretty good considering you bought all the items.
December 5, 200619 yr why not buy flax and spin it at lumby and get a few crafting levels while at it :P That's what i did, allthough i payed a few friends 50gp ea flax to spin them for me. or buy the ess and make nats, takes long but it's worth it. December 8, 200619 yr Author Okay. Thanks all for the replies! I think I will alch them all. If I can manage to get the bowstrings cheaper than 168gp each, I will make a profit! :) I will probably be going for it after I finish all the quests (for quest cape) and after 99 cooking (will probably get too bored of selling cooked sharks, so may be before 99 cooking). December 8, 200619 yr I would string 2k bows, alc them, string 2k more, etc. Or do larger increments if you have determination of steel. Varies it up a bit, and you get mage xp along the way, training two skills at once. Not one after another.
