ixfd64
Will the new treasure trail items devalue the old rewards? Or is it still too early to tell? Also, has Jagex made clue drops more rare? Or are level-1 clues still very easy to get from H.A.M., etc? Thanks. ecopetition
I think this will have an adverse effect, and make them go UP in value. Think about it: Same number of clue scrolls --> some new rewards --> some old rewards BEFORE: Same number of clue scrolls --> no new rewards --> all old rewards THEREFORE: Less old rewards being recieved, so price goes up as the owners of them quit/ don't sell them. False. On short-term the prices should lower some since everyone is rushing now to get clues and get their sweaty little hands on those new tt items. Hence they also get old items and since they are now concidered as "junk" by many they sell lower. Yet on short-term the amount of new items grows rapidly as it is peak hours now and they will come down rapidly and stay steadily on some specific point. Longterm-wise on the other hand, prices will be steady since as long as the prices of tt items are high there will be a temptation to do them. TT items are not like rares, their price goes down all the time. It is not very intelligent to compare them with the oldest quote in the book: "ppl quit and they go higher". Yeah right, that only works on discontinued items, not an items that has a constant supplyflow into the community. Eventually all the TT items go down untill they reach a certain balance at which they go down slower and slower and at some point may even freeze untill something happens that suddenly increases their value or inflates them even more. the49ronin
then why are people selling robins at higher prices?? more items means fewer chances at getting them and prices will increase... <the49ronin> O_o methinks ard is acting mighty high and pretty -.- <Ard_Choille> I am pretty <Ard_Choille> fo shizzle
ValaraZ
Well the new enchanted coif gives the same range bonus as robin hood hat so logically they should go down. tsolless
I agree. It is all about supply and demand. Before New Rewards: Supply:High enough Keeps Going Up Demand:Mostly merchants and richer people Now: Supply:Less from clues but overall more from people selling them Demand:Very low = Price Drop ~An Ex-Member gone F2per.
