neogeo0823
maybe hes a steel merchant? i merchanted a cool mil in just a couple hours(not counting the smelting of the steel) simply by standing in a bank shouting "buying all coal/iron ore!" and "selling steel bars!". anyone, even combat level 3's should be able to do that. anyway, on topic, ive never staked before, so i couldnt help you out. you might have a better time finding an answer if you have a mod move this to the help and advice section. EDIT: never mind, just realized that this was in help and advice. I couldn't care less if he was Andrew Gower himself, I just don't like arrogant smegheads. *in the voice of the comic book guy from the simpsons* best. quote. jimmy_jim
Get 94 mage, and also around 90+ range, 70 def, and 99 stre and 99 atk, the 70 def is for barrows. You can stick with 60 if you like though. milemaster55
ok, imo, there are 2 type of good stakers, one is melee the melee one, which is the one u want, is something like this 70-75 attk (higher the better) 40 str (idealy, but 45 id ok too) and 70+ def. Stake no range\mage no spec(i recommend leaving forfeit on~ppl do dum stuff~) no food or pots. idealy, u'll want to be 75-40-70\80, but if u feel the urge to get to another lvl where ppl stake more, u would likely want 80-50\60-90 keep ur prayer at 1, and u wanna wear veracs, ur low str will mean ur max will be like a 15, but irregardless, u'll own. In staking, with 75-40-70, ull be in the 70's, i would encourage low range to keep ur hp (and cb lvl) low. most meleers ur lvl will be like 60-80-1, which means there attks will put up 0's to ur def, after 75 attk, ull want to get ur def to like 80, tht will give you best results, with ur current lvls, 75-50-80 are looking like ur best bet, and at tht lvl ppl will be willing to stake phats. again, this is just my opinion (and i had a staker like this, he was very good) p.s. just as a warning, make sure the rules are to your specifications, or else your will probly get owned. click here to see a kickin' clue reward!!!!!!double ownage--->http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_oblEe9bQ4ROFLMAO--->
superklingon
oh i didnt know strength was so useless lol but most players want to stake NO armour... thats where the big money is so really getting my defence up for armour is not an excuse
illidan_98
Lol def stakers these days. There is much more people in the whip/dds boxing area. Aim at 90 atk 99 str and 45 def as a long term (it owns for this type of staking) or something like 80 at 85-90 str 45 def as semi short term. Just keep prayer at 1 and keep hp around ur atk lv. Rules r only weap, spec on/off dosnt matter, and the no eatin/pot/pray You should own There aren't enough hardcore def stakers out there, and this option lets u be an ownage pker :D Hve fun stakin Fire cape - 10th attempt - 28/10/0694 Magic Achieved December 26th 2006|99 Magic Achieved January 20th 2007Jack and Jill went up the hill

mchainmail
don't just jump right in to staking p-hats. Instead, do 100-200 stakes for almost no money, getting used to how things are. Then start small and work up. 1 mill, then 2 mill, etc. You don't want to lose all your cash in a day. Good luck.
Gilformen
a total ownage staker for no armor and whip/dds is this: 85 att 80-85 str 30 def 43 prayer (for insurance) that is the best for no armor staking, if you want armor, go for around: 75 att 45 str 70 def 43 prayer (for insurance) thats really good, you can wear most barrows sets and pwn those your level. and mcchainmail knows his stuff, DON'T go out and stake your santas or phats right away for god's sake. do a ton of stakes for no money or for little money until you get the hang of it, then slowly build up how much you stake. 32,606th to 99 magic || 15,388th to 99 dungeoneering || 12,647th to 99 farming14,792nd to 99 range || 24,954th to 99 herblore
