As i play RuneScape....i get a connection lost. Then i try logging in. It gives me the message which most of you should know "Your account is logged in...".

 

 

 

But there is no one on the account. This has happened to me numerous times.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So i was wondering if some knows the cause of this, or even better how to combat it.

Nothing to worry about, the servers have been crashing a lot lately so just give it a few minutes and you should be able to log in again.

But just a question: Are you on a laptop?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Whenever I use a laptop with a wireless connection to play RS, if the connection fails for whatever reason for even a fraction of a second, I get logged out, and I can't log back in for about 20 seconds or so because I get that same "you are logged in" message.

It could be because you were fighting something at the time. There is still the 10 second rule when your connection drops or if you "X" out of the game window. This has happened to me many times before, often ending in death or really close to it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So, nothing to fret about, it just thinks your still logged in because you might be fighting something or have just got done fighting something and have to wait the 10 seconds.

Even know you lose your connection you account is still logged in. Give it thirty seconds to log out, but other than that it is fine.

10 servers went down from midnight cst to 7am cst. When that happens, your character is locked, and cannot be retreived until server comes back online. I know, cause my character was locked in world 42. #-o
