i cant find any way to make money with smithing ...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

example : steel plate : req 5 steel bars which is 2.5 k for materials

 

 

 

Nats 300 ea

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Total of 2.8 k for each steel plates, if i use high alch on it i gain 1.2 k

 

 

 

1.2-2.8=-1.4k so i loose 1.4 k each steel plates....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What should i do?

There are actually very few ways to make money with smithing :? Cannon balls or iron knives are the best I think.

smithing is a dead skill unfortunatly. Its just neat to have 99 smithing or whatever but It has no value to it as you lose money on every rune item you can make.

If you do it right, iron knives almost doubles your money.

this is complicated...you mine ores. smelt bars. smith armor/wepons. sell what you make, and you make money...ok so i wont be a jackass...its not all that profitable until you can make addy n rune unless you mine n make ur own bars. but buying bars then selling wat u make u dont make profit til rune n addy.

Smithing gives you nice profit IF you mine your own ores.

less profits than if u sell the bars u make tho O_O

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Making everything form scratch is basically you only way to make money. Or you sell cannon balls or knifes. I would suggest making cannon balls.

Buying ores and making bars you can make money with otherwise u cant do anything.

i lost like 800k just by getting to lvl 68. lol.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i think that unless you can make runite items (unbelievably hard to get there i think) or you are members, don't train smithing!

Buy steel bars for 600 each.

 

 

 

Smith them into cannonballs.

 

 

 

Sell those for 180 each.

 

 

 

That's 30 profit per ball, 120 profit per bar.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In f2p-

 

 

 

Impossible :(.
