Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Level 99

Featured Replies

Looking at my current skillset (see Sig) I have three questions: Which would be easiest and cheapest to push to 99? How would I get it there? And how long should it take?

P2P forever!... Or at least 'til <insert excuse here> happens

98% of people have signatures with made up statistics in them. If you're one of the 2% that doesn't, copy this and add it to your signature.

do fleching get to w.e level it takes for williow longs

then make 15k of them should take about a week if u buy all the logs for 450k but u make half the money back if u sell the general store

then from there make yew longs till 99 about 80k of them i think

I dont have a sig anymore =[

But I did manage to get every skill in the highscores

Should I string said bows? Or is it easier just to make a lot of unstrung ones?

fire making is pretty easy to get up high, just that you need a bit of money buying logs (6gp per oak in general store). If you buy from the general store you get 10 xp per 1 gp spent so it would cost about 1.3 mil doing it that way to get to 99 firemaking

perfect grammar is one thing, typing like a drugged monkey and enjoying it is another

You're probably not going to like my answer, but nevertheless:

It's too early for you to aim for a 99. Why not skill in general, taste things, try different skills out, explore the game and then settle for a skill you really like...

My opinion is that people shouldn't have a goal of 99 before they reached at least 80-85 in that skill (at 85, you've still only amassed 25% of the required total experience!!!). It's only at those levels that you can assess the difficulty of achieving the longed for 99.

I'm not saying this because I'm a snob, by the way, but because so many people get discouraged when they realise the vast amount of time and effort it will take them to get the 99 in question. Then they get just get bored of the game, discouraged, or stop seeing it for what it is: entertainment, not work.

meh. I aim for 99 because my extreme add forces me to set extremely high goals so I can get SOMETHING done before I randomly go do something else.

In other words, I don't actually plan to get higher than level 60
