Skeletal Wyverns

I'm getting closer to 72 slayer and they seem fun to kill, but how should I do this? Any prayers I should turn on?

Use melee prayer, with the best prayer robes you can. Elemental shield is not needed if you use protect from melee, but don't let your prayer run out, if you do, it will hit 30-40s. Supers, and dagger (for specs only) are also a good choice. :)

Thanks, I hope I will get more of them than I get dusties. No dusty tasks so far and I got Kurasks the assignment after I got 70 slayer -.- .

I'm 90 Slayer and still never had a Wyvern task, don't get your hopes up, lol -.- But I was around 86-87 when they were released :P Also only ever had 2 Dusty tasks, which sucks :P

I don't agree on the no shield. Wear a shield, in combiantion with verac armour and a whip. Even with that you'll barely hit them. they have extreme high defense, alot of hitpoints and they hit hard. Take 2-3 prayerpots, superset, the rest sharks. you'll be able to kill a few. And if you get a task of them. It's a small amount like 15-20 of them. Take 2-3 prayerpots, superset, the rest sharks. you'll be able to kill a few. And if you get a task of them. It's a small amount like 15-20 of them. If you only wear the shield you'll get hit more than with using prayer. So considering you'll need to use pray anyway, unless you want to use 2 shark each one you kill (you'll need a few shark with pray, but no where near as many), it's much better to just use prayer. That way you can also use a defender, to have extra attack (or just wear full veracs, it still gives a prayer bonus, and it's special will hit through the high defence). :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I also like to use a cannon there, but that's not needed.

I've had only one task of these. Had to kill 13. After 6 of them, I gave up and actually changed task.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To give you an idea of my 'irritating monster' resilience: I never ever skip Metal Dragons, Aberrant Spectres or Infernal Mages.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I hate Wyverns with a passion. They are slow to kill, hit a lot and drop junk, unless you get really lucky. First time you go there, I'd suggest to take the shield just in case you run out of prayer.
