if i went to go get the fire cape would i lose my items and is it worth it

Yes, it is definitely worth it...only if you can afford to spend 3-5M getting it (unless you get lucky).

I don't see why everyone claims it's so expensive. Look at the costs:

  [*:pcn8njpk]20 super restores(4) @ 10k ea = 200k
   
   
   
  [*:pcn8njpk]1/4 recharge of your guthans = 75k or so

*I only put down the recharge of 1 crystal bow because you should need 1 full bow and about 1/10th of your 2nd one.
