Slayer task

So, i got the slayer task of 125 trolls, and I don't want to burthorpe it.

 

 

 

The trolls are tough, hitting hard, with high hp, but good drops.

 

 

 

I'm wearing:

 

 

 

Full rune,

 

 

 

a dragon long,

 

 

 

red vambs,

 

 

 

villager sandals :XD:

 

 

 

My stats:

 

 

 

61 range

 

 

 

70 attack

 

 

 

70 strength

 

 

 

65 defense

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I usually go to the warrior's guild, pick up a couple of each potion, then put on protect from range till i get to pee hat and kraka (level 91), then i kill a mixture of all the trolls.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My problem is that a take a TON of damage, and it's pretty boring walking from death plateau to catherby to get some easy food.

 

 

 

Suggestions?

You could range them if you want, but it only really works if you wait until they stop auto-attacking you. (doesn't take too long) Course, you could also use a halberd if you wished.

 

 

 

But to be honest, until you have guthans, or higher defense, I'd recommend you Buthorpe it..

use the cave north of the slayer cave and go south its single combat there

Yea, I had roughly the same stats, just higher defense. I killed the Mountain Trolls in the cave where you go to Keldagrim. They don't hit that often, but when they do, they hit hard. I finished the task in two trips.

A cannon works well, if you can afford it.
