Castle Wars divisions

Featured Replies

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that, after 16 times of getting Ice Barrage'd to death in CW, I'm ready for the playing field to become a little leveler (if that's even a word). What I mean is, why not divide CW into a few different categories, so that the lvl 23 noobs actually make an impact in the outcome of their games. I got this idea from talking to a friend who plays WoW: the Battlegrounds, a place pretty much like the Fight Pits or CW in RS, are divided into levels, so that anyone who's lvl 50-60 plays together, and the lvl 20-30's play in a separate game. It would be pretty easy to implement this concept in RS. Less than cb lvl 40 would be a group, then 40-60, 60-90, 90+. Nothing major, just allows the players that don't have ancient magicks and dragon armour to play in a game where they don't get 2-hit. The number of players in a game wouldn't decrease too much, as more players could play at the same time, and it would make the game more fun for everybody (except maybe the lvl 110's who enjoy beating people up).

Constructive criticism only, please, and if you don't like this idea, take the time to think out your reason.

AMEN!

Only problem would be low levels that want to play with high-leveled friends. And CW is a game that can only take place on one battlefield, unlike PC. Other than that, it's pretty good...And a solution to the first problem would be to have an all levels game.

i agree that castle wars can be a little "one sided at times but like he said low level friends want to play with their high level friends.

besides your forgeting that some times clans play castle wars as weekly events and could have members from any level

If you choose your beliefs/lifestyle simply based on what your parents want, then you are a weak minded individual and are not even worthy of calling yourself a person.

I could also thing of a few other types.

Overall bad idea. C-Wars is just good as it is. If you think its unfair dont play. Or train...

I'm not saying that it's unfair, just that it really doesn't give everyone a chance. And why don't you like the idea? You never said.

As for lower levels playing with higher levels... since you are going to have multiple games, why not put in a game where anybody can play (like the CW we have now)?
