I was wondering do you think when you fail to pickpocket say a knight if you wait for 30 seconds you have a better chance than if you attempt straight after you become unstunned and if you are behind the knight or infront or beside

Ive read that waiting 10 seconds or so does increase your chance but id rather just thieve straight away and getting more exp quicker but take more damage. Im impatient so let me get some lobbies and thieve like crazy!

I think it's all just random. Everytime you pickpocket something, it runs that certain line of code, and I'm pretty sure there's nothing regarding wait time. If so, then why wouldn't you succeed everytime on the very first pickpocket, seeing as you hadn't done it in a while?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And even so, it would be better to take the chance of getting caught. 30 seconds is much to long. In that time period, you could've attempted and succeeded pickpocketing multiple times.
