Abyss RCing with Duelling Ring

Has anyone ever tried Abyss Runecrafting with a Ring of Dueling?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- Runeraft,

 

 

 

- Duel to Castlewars,

 

 

 

- Restock,

 

 

 

- Take out Glory,

 

 

 

- Glory to Edge

 

 

 

- Bank Glory and take one last Pure Ess

 

 

 

- Run to Abyss.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Granted, you're going to use up and awful lot of Duelling rings (I have 700 in the bank from crafting), but you can go into the Abyss with just a duelling ring, pouches and essence. No losing Glories and Full Black Dragonhide if things don't go your way...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wouldn't take more than one or two PKs for the Abyss PKer to realize that you weren't going to be dropping anything useful, and he'd probably end up ignoring you and not wasting runes after that.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Never tried it personally, but was wondering if anyone else had. Especially if you were going to try to craft Laws through the Abyss.

Well it does cut down the risk of abyss rcing significantly. A lot of people won't use this method though because A) It is more time-consumbing, and B) They are already quite adept at avoiding the PKers.

yeah u hardley ever get pked though i crafted 10k nats and only 1 person even attepted to kill me and they were dressed up as zammy mage and my ectophial saved my life lol. But i guess if u wanan waste time but possibly save money then use ring of dueling

It might take a bit longer, and it's a bit safer, but if you're talking about laws you might want to consider using hot air balloons instead of that way. But if you're making nats go ahead and stic k with that.

It's a good idea that has been suggested several times. I'd probably recommend it for anyone whose combat level is between 85 and 100, just because there are a lot of RC PKers around that level.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But for anyone else, especially those of us who have mastered getting around PKers and avoiding death, I wouldn't recommend it. In the long run, it slows you down tremendously!
