ask yourself...does that pose look comfortable? well, it sure doesn't. Fix it until you think it looks as such. There is no point in trying to shade that picture, before it looks like a person....

Much more contrast needed in shading (especially when dealing with shiny surfaces like metal).

 

 

 

The helm looks like it's part of his skin, or really weird hair sorta stuff. Remember that it has shape too.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Axe handle looks like it's rubber on a hot day.

 

 

 

His feet are tiny. They need more length, and remember there is no such thing as rune boots.

Hm. I didn't say that nobody should make pixels. I think just that not everybody should. I think that less people should. That's my honest opinion, and it's on-topic, since he posted about quitting pixels.

i see where your going with the feet being in a front on position, and its hard to draw good feet that way

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i would move the shield in front of his body and get rid of his right arm, then move the left arm with the axe closer to his body

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

atm, the helmet moulds into his head, so the helmet needs to protude out from the face more, and id make the horns longer too

Nope, I haven't. Pardon my ignorance then. :oops:

:lol: OK, in RS1 rune legs are like full leg armour, with no boots, so it kinda of makes it so there is rune boots, maybe hes RS1 player :)
