You could clean up your line art and redo the right arm. Also the second m in mom you need to redo.

Won't really work too hard on these, I'm thinking more of making a new one with generally the same idea with cleaner lines and better letters, I know, at the moment, they're almost illegable.

I dislike in the first one how unplanned it is. The bubble is extremely crammed, and the writing rushed. Additionally, The whole concept, isn't witty at all, so I'm not sure why it's a joke. It's great for just practice, but it's not something that took you a long time. The second one is more interesting. It looks like it took more time, and i like the little 'sprong' creature in the top left.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thanks for telling me which tablet, I've heard alot of people recommending the Wacom tablets, I'm going to try and find one on ebay maybe later perhaps.

Believe it or not, the first one took a helluva lot longer than the second. I had my tablet settings all messed up in the first and it was the very first time I actually used it. Really, it wasn't supposed to be funny, I just thought I'd add a speach bubble with some words, and it just so happened to be those words. :?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And, if you're thinking about getting a tablet used, the only problem with that is the surface of the tablet maybe extremely scratched, and it will be hard to draw on. Good luck, nonetheless. :
