De_Lille_D
I have always avoided construction, because of the high price. Untill now I only used Tears of Guthix and I biult things around my house twice, to make it look good. Now, I'm ready to give it a go to 50 r 60 Const. But HOW not waste money? If you give an example, please include the price per exp (e.g 10 coins/exp). So far: Oak kitchen larder: ??? gp/exp RSN: De Lille D [P2P]- Visit my Advanced Farming Route Guide -
Gugge
When it comes to levelling using planks, oak is definitly the wood to use when you care about cost. Rebuilding your kitchen larders is the easiest thing to do. Chopping logs yourself is quick and easy. If you mean to go to sawmill yourself, I suggest to chop right at the sawmill, there are a few oaks. That way you dont run with logs in your inventory (logs in inventory = heavy, consumes much running energy). Chopping logs, and then bring noted logs and cash to house and have a servant run to sawmill is quicker and cost more. If it's worth it or not is very much a personal choice. The time you save can be used doing stuff that earn you money - so may be worth it. Sorry, I cant give any numbers simply because for me personally it is always more important to do things the more enjoyable way, than the most cost efficient way. I used demon butler who is polite and quick, which I like. I *think* the normal butler is more cost effective. Please think before you ask a question. If you ask the right question, its much more likely you get the answer you are looking for :)
De_Lille_D
I don't think I will use planks, as the 'plank maker' is very expensive. I was thinking about making stuff out of limestone or something ... RSN: De Lille D [P2P]- Visit my Advanced Farming Route Guide -

12pure34
I thought the same.. a house is worth it trust me :) Ways to save: -dont buy planks, make them yourself. -You can train with limestone bricks. These cost 21gp ea. Dont know exactly how much experience you can get from them, but they are a pain to gather (construction shop + in morton) -Clay .. but don't bother, its to slow. -If you have high smithing, in the skills room, you can get extra construction and smithing experience if you build armour stands. makes the progress alot cheaper. just a few hints.. Jock66600
Ok, from the Rag and Bone Man place there is a little spot where there are limestone rocks. What you need: 65 Agility or a long long walk. Not sure the crafting level. A chisel A rune pick Priest in Peril Your inventory, C is a chisel, X is your limestone. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXC Just click over til you are done. Walk to the Agility spot or go through the tunnel. Bank in Canfis, another method is House Teleport, also need 48 construction with tea, a teleport room, and a Canfis Teleport. Good luck, I'm thinking about 10,000 limestone til 60 contruction.
