January 3, 200719 yr If you have a "protection item" like a scarecrow or marigolds, your crop will be protected from disease/death and you *don't* have to pay a farmer?
January 3, 200719 yr Well, I believe even if you have a scarecrow/marigolds you'll still need to at least water them. Unless plants grow without water? :? I say you'll still have to pay them, but never really thought about it.
January 3, 200719 yr Author so pay farmer = hands off exp and items; protection item growing = no disease, but item will die if you don't stop by to water every farming tick? Correct?

January 4, 200719 yr No, that's not true. You don't have to water the plants every farming tick. That only prevents them from getting diseased, but that's already covered by your plants. :) This signature is intentionally left blank.
