You apparently haven't seen this guy around much then. I'm fine with having a dream and sticking with it, this guy has had a hundred dreams. He wanted to be a pro soccer player and plenty of other things as well, all "pro". His mind has changed so fast I serriously doubt this is his "true calling". It's really good to know a lot of theory if you really do want to be a big musician too, it helps a lot. But other than that, like I said, and like everyone else said, just practice like crazy. Look at Jimi Hendrix, before he even had a guitar, he "played" on a broomstick, then when his dad bought him a guitar for $5, it only had 1 string on it, and he couldn't afford any more strings.
