My First Attempt at Pixeling Using Photoshop

Ok well... I can't belive you spent what did you say... 2-3 hours on this...Why? Its great that you want to impove that much but jeesh just read a few tutorials and spend half that time to make somthing thats just as good...

Scarf- no dept at all... it looks like part of the shirt...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cape- no detail and its pretty much straight lineses

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Highlights - a few but waaaaayyyy too similar to the color you are useing to fill the guys top+legs

Ahh... hmm thats all the C\C i see atm... of course i have drank about a half jug of the dew and been up for over 14 hours staight, played a basketball game, and then went to a college game... :shock: So i'm pretty freaking buzzed atm... I tried to do a edit and show you how much better it will look with basic shading and a few fixes

made mountions look less like iso triangles and made less of them

 

 

 

changed colors of mountions and added grass

changed width of feet

 

 

 

of rid of jpg crap

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also if you have a windows os you wont get a virus inless you do stuff like download software on a peer 2 peer connection. Apples don't suck that bad either, mostly just compatibility issues that adnoy me.(no good games/some soft has no mac version) Windows will pwn Apple when vista comes out though, and it even has better security features then xp.

I had some problems with layers, because I did everything on that background layer, just thinking that I would play around.

Nazgul, If you count how much time I actually worked on making progress with this thing, it comes down to about an hour.

Yeah, I didn't mess around with those things, I just tried to get the basic body shape.

lol "I only used photoshop! :? " well... put a sock in it. that won't make it bad! I use photoshop my self (version 5) and its fine. lol I'm surprised V2 can't save in PNG cause we use V3 at school (and freakin apple computers ... laag...) have a look at the pixel thats titled

If you have a mac with PS 2.0 I highly sugest upgrading if you have OS X Tiger, I have Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger with photoshop elements 3, a kinda cut down version of ps CS...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

@dkjestrup, the only real good apple computers are the imacs :D.
