Do you have a better chance of getting a defender if you wear a ROW or if you don't? I've heard both sides of the issue, but am not sure which is right.

It's hard to tell who to believe :P Everyone has a different opinion on it. I did it without RoW and got from bronze to 2 runes in about 1600 tokens.

I personally believe they don't help at all. I got my 2 rune defenders within 1k kills without using one.

Interesting... Is that about the average number of tokens it takes to get a rune?

It took me somewhere between 2000 and 2100. I think its more luck than RoW. I wore a RoW for bronze through steel then took it off for black through rune. I had better luck with it off but that's just me.

Ya that's the argument I heard about the high alch costs (though that's not how I personally think the RoW works).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I had personally played it safe and didn't use it, but a lot of people still manage to complete it pretty fast even with one, so I say go for it :D.
