Windows cannot find "boot.ex e"

after my computer get this minor virus.. ]

 

 

 

one of my computers harddrive, not main drive

 

 

 

when i double click to open it :

 

 

 

the virus probably changed abit of settings after i cleaned it

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

how do i remove this "bug"

Hard Drive, Floppy Drive, CD Drive, DVD drive, External USB HDD drive, USB drive...?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Can you be a little more specific as to the nature of your system and the virus?

Can you PLEASE follow the guidance in the stickies about giving us information. I will not help people who expect me to mind read what a persons PC setup is, if they have done all virus scans etc.

Does it say this when you start your computer? If so, the virus probably infected boot[Caution: ExecutableFile] and your virus scanner (or however you may have gotten rid of it) deleted it, you turned off your computer... and bye bye.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You're going to need to find the file on a windows disk and move it over some how (read up on DOS :D )

Would a good old system restore not sort that out?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hmm.. i dont even know when i got the virus.. i formatted the computer once and now still got it again...
