There should be personal librarys (which only friends can see) And a RuneScape library which can be seen by any1 but u can decide 2 put them there! Here is my suggestion: Make it where only level 99 prayer and level 99 magicians can make books. Not just regular books, Prayer and Spell Books. The only way to make them is where full god armor of the god you are loyal to. You then can write prayers/spells, you couldn't just make a 9999hp hitting spell, you have to mix the spells/prayers. Such as mixing "Smite" and some lunar spell. You can fit 10 prayers/spells in it. You then have the chance to make it pretty and perhaps make it stronger. Maybe put a diamond on the front or an enchanted amulet (Besides the farming amulet) and it might increase the power of the spells/prayers. Then, you must find the Head Priest of one of the Rs gods. He tells you before he will ask the god to bless the book, you must prove to be loyal to that god. He will ask you to either get him 100+ Vials of Strength Potions or maybe go kill 75+ followers of another god. I get what you mean but people will find this very hard, very very very few people will understand what to do. When you go to the Varrock Palace Library, you will see a NPC who talks about him and his books. He will offer you to teach how to write a book.{this includes *what not to use* *how to start* etc. 2. You will then get a job to do{currently taking ideas on this} 3. When you finish this job, you get a Special Writer's Box as a reward[this includes...100feathers, 10 blank books, 5 pots of ink, a dictionary] 4. Reqirments:- Requirments of this quest are going to be := * Combat level atleast 60. * Prayer level 40 * Completed the Dragon Slayer quest. 5. Requirements to write a book, * Currently wearing full monk. * have feathers,a blank book, ink and dictionary in the inventory. * Standing in the monastery. 6. PQ( possible questions) Q= Why do we need Feathers and ink pots for? A- In oldern times people did not have a pen or pencials to write. :shock: Q= Why do we have to complete dragon slayer to write a book? A- To prevent noobs writting stupid books. Q= Why do we have to wear full monk and stand in monaster to write a book? Maybe leaving a note in the book's place in your bank or inventory? Maybe you could add a new 'Author' NPC who could introduce you to books and tell you how to make one? As an idea, you could need a sheet of papyrus per pages of the book (each page 600 chars, maybe?) , leather (to make the cover) and glue to bind the finished product. Maybe make the leather dyeable to make it look nicer? You'd also need quills (Already in the game, tbh-that Firebird quill from The Golem) and Ink (In game as well-same quest) to write with. Also need another vial of ink for each page written? You could also have a new room in your house that you used to write books. Not sure what it could be called, but it could have a writing desk, where you sit to write (wonder why? =P), bookshelves, papyrus drawers (random idea, probably for more convenient papyrus-of course, you'd need to get the amount of papyrus you want to store yourself) and ink drawers (see previous). With all the use of papyrus, you'd probably need to be able to make it-shops would run out pretty quickly. New farming plant-the reed, only growable in new patches? I dunno, I'm just churning out ideas for your suggestion as they come. But yes, the idea's one that I've had for a while myself, and just not bothered to type it up. You said may be we can have a quest for this. Then I said "I LIKE UR IDEA" Now i came up with my own idea of a quest! THen where does 'copyright' come from? second thing, did u copyright protected it??
