okay, im made a big decision.

since my gcse exams are coming closer, ive decided to quit p2p, and take a loong break from runescape, but occasionally come on. probably do a bit of wc + fm.

now, im definately selling the majority of my stuff,

but should I buy a cheap rare?

then, when I come back, probably in september sometime, sell it?

lets say I get around 12m by selling stuff.

what rare should I buy?

thanks,

Ya I'd go with a cheap rare if you don't plan on playing much.

I think with 12M you can only afford a Pumpkin or Easter Egg.

Yes, I think it would be good to buy a rare if you leave for a long time. Rares are really cheap at the moment so I do expect them to rise (altough I'm not a "rare" expert).

Well, all I know is that I left runescape just before construction came out. My total bank was worth about 3 mil back then... exactly the same as easter eggs were. I though about selling everything and then buying a rare, but decided not to and give everything I had to my brother. Then, I came back 5 months later just to find out that easter eggs had risen to 15m :wall:

I just bought a rare right before my members expired (yesterday.. heh). Now I'm in f2p with a rare stuck in my invent (I like showing off). If you're going to buy one and take a break from RS I suggest you log in once in a while to make sure your account and items are still there. Don't forget to change your password, rec. q's and bank pin every few months.

My members expired yesterday too ^_^.

Ya I would definitely recommend logging in now and then to make sure everything it still yours. And I'd personally bank the rare with a bank pin.
