ok i was playing battlefield2:modern combat (bf2:mc)on my ps2 and i got up like 4 ranks and a cuple levels at 1 go and when i went to go back on the next day it said that load save game failed (blah blah) save game cruppet then i reset the ps2 tryed again same thang so i went to memory card index and it said bf2:mc(sp)(whats sp mean?) and i had to deleat and restart all the way from 2 lutent back to private :( why did it do this any ideas? (i have been on the internet 1 time to get it hooked up could that mess it up?)

But, did you turn off the console/remove the card before it had finished saving? That's often the most common cause for corrupt data. But, it just sometimes does it randomly, it happened to me once with a game, I saved it fine and went to re-load it and it told me I had corrupt data.

On top of Cadburys' reply, your memory card may have gone bad. Try saving and loading a few other games in different places to check and make sure the entire card hasn't died if you havn't checked it already.

o ok the memorey card works fine because i loaded SOCOM fine on it but battlefield 2 didn't work and i aways keep it on while its loadin so it happend ramdanely hope it dont do it on jak3 because i got it compleated :lol:

bf2:mc is a very glitchy game (its made by EA after all), i had this done to me many times. Fortunatly i only reallys played the online mode (which has now been shut down)
