anonymouse_ Posted January 18, 2007 Share Posted January 18, 2007 After 3 failed attempts at getting a fire cape, I started thinking whether it wouldn't be cheaper to just go with a msb and rune arrows instead of 2 cbows. I was thinking about using ava's thing (that collects arrows) so I wouldn't lose too many arrows. The only questions i have are whether rune arrows would be any better/same as a cbow and whether it would be cheaper to go with rune arrows. I find it really annoying to use up the remaining charges on the bows and 360k isn't really that cheap... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Even with picking them up, you'd have to pay the same amount: 360k, and with the crystal bow, you only use up about 1/3 of the charges, leaving plenty for range trainging. I'd say the crystal bow is best, but that's just me... Well, technically, there is no barrier between you and the monster, since it takes up 2 spaces; it only gets stuck behind the wall. It's cool to be able to shoot 360s from afar while having a 180 safespotted Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(. Ranging with a 2/10 crystal bow is a real pain (I did Jad with it.... don't ask), I don't even dare to imagine what it would be like to do the entire caves game with one.
