January 19, 200719 yr Ok, odd question, and I'm sure it's possible but... Ok, I like to mine rune, it's fun, but sadly the world hopping can drive a person mad. Why? Sound volume. I like to have my music blaring through my headphones, just what I do, change worlds, everything's fine.... WHAM! Runescape's intro music as a change worlds not only blows over anything I set, it blows over my eardrums. I know this isn't a "Runescape" per-say help question, but, is there a way to disable Runescape's intro sound? I'd prefer just the intro page but seeing as that's probably impossible to do... (I'd like to hear if I get hit with a random or something still if I'm not looking....) but if need be, just disable browser sounds? A man who doesn't read, is no smarter than a man who can't read.
January 19, 200719 yr open your volume window (icon onyour toolbar) and mute SW Synth. now all RS music will be turned off (but game sounds usually remain) + this post sould be in the tech forum really Back by popular demand!And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all.
January 19, 200719 yr I never get to hear the log-in music, I have the music turned off in the in-game options and I log in the Low Detail mode. This signature is intentionally left blank.
January 19, 200719 yr Assuming that you want to keep the ingame sound, the only other way to get rid of intro music other then disabling all RS music like sheepdean said is to play on low detail (no intro music).
