Nazgul740
I absolutly love concept artists Great guys :D However... while many of them work quickly and have sketchy styles it doesn't mean that anatomy, depth and angles are thrown out of the window... C\C The spatter looks pretty straight on... when i first saw it i thought it was a shield of some sort.. What is the mess on top of the brawlers head?? The brawlers fist is just like... well a lump on the end... how sad that the poor brawler has to spend his short life not having any fingers... I would give him some... Whats with his torso? He's all muscle and then this odd sorta shadeing right there... it throws it off a bit Your shield is really at an odd view it should be at a 3\4 angle instead of straight on... The helmet is shaped a bit oddly also... its bent backwards which makes it look as if he is looking up... which doesn't go with the rest of his anatomy real well... How wide is this guy? atm it looks like his cape isn't billowing out while he is running.. instead it appears as if this guy's cape is stretched over a large belly... While there are alot of C\C's and you should try and work on some of them in the future I would love to see you finish this piece of work... It can be nice pratice for ya... Another tip is that when you are shadeing you don't have to shade EVERYTHING... use white paper as your lightest tones and shade LIGHTLY... I have the same problem of just pouring the shadeing on and saying wala to an almost dark piece of paper :( New sigzor^^

A_DirtyPotato
what kind of pencil do you use? is that a trick question?? :? A better question would be, is that a trick question. There are so many different types of pencils. 2B, 4B, graphite, charcoal, mechanical, no. 2, no. 4. The list goes on. Linework credit goes to someone else who's name escapes me... dark_shadow
pretty good picture :) dont really have much cc though.. and in regards to pencils.. i have so many types its not funny. i draw/sketch tigers, horses, and other animals IRL and use 9B to B, F, and H-6H pencils, as well as charcoal and an actual graphite pencil. i generally use 3B for rough linework (press very lightly) b for basic shading of an animal, 2B for shadows, and then come along with a H pencil (differnt ones for different textures) and add the fur texture.. but yeah. shall stop spamming, sorry! Featuring in my sig: TURT, ma pet turdle! Thanks to- Runemetsa and Aijiru for two of the great sigs!Avatar made by me
