Then go on these forums and ppl are willing to give you 1 k iron & 2 k coal for your 1 k steel bars + they give 50-75 gp each bar you give them. So your earning 50-75 k and smithing xp. January 21, 200719 yr the fasteset way is to buy steel bars and turn them into steel plates, but if you want to save money, do waht micbar said Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)

January 21, 200719 yr I personally prefer using Iron ore into iron knives + sell 'em cost list: 1K Iron Ore: 110K 8 Rings of forging: 24K Sell 5K knives (35 each): 175K Total profit: 41K Total smithing exp: 37,500 P2P forever!... Or at least 'til <insert excuse here> happens98% of people have signatures with made up statistics in them. If you're one of the 2% that doesn't, copy this and add it to your signature.

And iron knives are pretty easily sold for 40ea
