Random events are... well, random... Just do something like woodcut, start fires, fish, etc and a random will appear from nowhere.

They're called "Random" for a reason.

Stick to a skill for a long period of time and you should get plenty of randoms. They are random, yes, but are also meant to stop autoers who generally do 1 skill, and 1 skill alone.

well in 4 years i only had 2 mimes and today within 2 hours of alching i got 2 mimes making it 4 total :P

In my 5 years of playing, i had gotten ZERO Leo the Gravedigger RE's. Now, with my new 2 month old account, within an hour or burying bones, i get 2 Leo the Gravedigger's and 1 Freaky Forrester. Call that luck!
