Ever wanted a high total level and can never do it? Well so have I :P and I have figured it out.

Picking A Skill

The BEST choice to quickly level up, is to pick your lowest skill, but that is not always possible. You must pick a skill that will go with the items AND skills you have at the moment. If you want to level up attack, and you have no weapons, it won̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t work to well......and if you want to level up construction, and have no money, good luck! So if you have a low level, and the items and skill to do it, choose that skill. So stop reading now and go pick a skill!

Looking at my skills, the best choices would be farming, slayer, or herblore. I don't have weapons or armor, or cash to buy herbs, but I could train thieving and farming by thieving seeds and farming them!

Leveling Up That Skill

Ok once you have picked a skill, following the requirements from above, you now have to level it. ::' A really good option is to level more than one skill at a time! So look at the other AWESOME guides out there and figure out how to train your skill the best!

A VERY good option is to train more than one skill to level efficiently:

Attack, Hitpoints, Prayer:

Choose your favorite way to level up attack, and you get hitpoints experience too! Then you bury the bones of the monster!

Defence, Range OR Magic, Hitpoints, Prayer

Click the defence style on your bow or staff, and you get that that experience, along with defence, hitpoints, and then you bury the bones on the monster!

Strength, Hitpoints, Prayer

Choose your favorite way to level strength, then you get hitpoint experience, and then you bury the bones!

Fishing, Cooking

Fish something, then go cook it once you have a full inventory. You just got fishing and cooking experience!

Fishing, Cooking, [Any of the first 3 combinations]

Same as above, but use your food to help you train!

Woodcutting, Firemaking OR Fletching, Magic (If you picked Fletching, and if it is worth it....)

Cut trees, then either burn them, or fletch them into bows, then alch the bows! (Best for Yew long bows and above)

[Any of the first 3 combinations killing cows, dragons ect.] Crafting, Magic (Alching)

Kill something where you get hide, then craft it, and if it's green dragon range armor above, alch it!

Mining, Smithing, Magic (Alching)

Mine, smelt, smith, then alch!

Herblore, [First 3 Combinations]

Make some combat enhancing potions, and use them while you train!

Fishing, Cooking, Agility

Fish, cook, then use the food while you train agility!

Slayer, [Any Combination of the first 3]

When you do your slayer assignment, you combat the monsters, and get all the experience at the same time!

Farming, [if you don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t want to be overwhelmed, plant a patch in one area (2 alottments, 1

herb, 1 flower ex. In Falador) and do anything, Alching is great or thieve nearby in Falador while you wait]

Runecrafting, Magic

Use the runes you make while runecrafting in your training of magic!

Hunter, Magic (Alching)

While you wait for birds to be trapped on your snares, alch!

Construction, Magic (Alching while you wait for you butler to bring you planks)

Defencemage.png

Sticking To That Skill

Even though this is for gaining levels quickly, and once you have your level up to your standards, you will probably stop, but you might have patience issues, and need something to entertain yourself. Some great things are:

Listening to music is the easiest, because you can just sing a long or listen as you do your skill.

Another option is to talk to friends, through Runescape Private Messaging System, or another Messaging system.

Or bring a friend along as you do your skill. A skill is easier to train if you have someone there to talk to, and help you keep your patience as you train your skill!

Picture2-3.png

Now you can go laugh at your friend and say you have a higher total level then them!

I had to read through the guide a few times, but i get the gist now. What your saying is to do other skills while you doing the original skill... Alching and cons for example.

But aren't you contradicting yourself because the guide is about doing skills effectively. I mean, I thieve at Ardo and plant the seeds, not too bad. But for other skills like... Agility for example, I like to get 100 cakes from the cake stall, then I like to use the lever to go to the wildy and train there until i die (Thats a good method BTW).

Overall I rate it a 7/10, add some more worthwhile pics and I'll give it an 8/10

Trying to get a new sig... Idea's anyone?

some bits of it arnt efficient because you have to stop, if you were getting fishing up with cooking, you would fish a few thousand then cook em
