Yes, people only use verac because it hits through the Queen's protection prayer.You can just range her when she's in a her 2nd form.

what about mage? would reguler or ancients be better?

Usualy people use the ancient blood spells on her without using protect prayer. But remember it is a very expensive way.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But if you are in a team i think the lunar spells are better for her.

If you have kalphite for task and 90+ attack and strength, its easier to mask and whip then verac, from what my friend says anyways.

Yea it is a great way to do it. Mage'ing it is a very, very expensive way, i suggest not to do it.

I seriously suggest you don't mage her 2nd form. You will have to wear mage armour (otherwise you can't hit well) and face severe range def penalties. Also, you have to pray against mage almost all the time and her range attack will hit you hard

If you have a slayer task of kalphites, a black mask and 90 flats at least, you could do it with a partner.

 

 

 

I went with mr tubgirl and he hit a 47 wearing...ba torso, rune defender, black mask, super potted, rune boots, fire cape, veracs skirt, glory ammy and att and str prayers (15%) he got the drop everytime, he is 99 str though :P

Of course there is , remember, the kalphite queen was killed for her dragon chain long before barrows even came out.
