I have gold amulets and gold necklaces and cut gems, how do I make gem necklaces and what else do I need to make an amulet? Some kind of string? THanks

You can't. What you have to do is have the correct mould, crafting level, a gold bar, and the corresponding gem. Use the gold bar on the furnace, and click what you wish to make. If it is an amulet, string it with a ball of wool, and enchant it using the corresponding spell.

You have to combine the gem with the necklace/amulet/ring at the furnace. It's not a retrofit kind of deal. So when you go to the furnace, you have to bring all the supplies you want for that particular piece of jewelry.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you want to make a necklace: Bring one necklace mould, one gold bar, and one gem per necklace you want to make. Then, use the gold bar on the furnace. You'll get a menu; pick which necklace you want made. If you have the neccesary materials, the necklace will show up (not grayed-out). Just pick it and how many you want to make, sit back, and voila! If you want to make an amulet: Bring one amulet mould, one gold bar, and one gem per necklace you want to make. Follow the instructions for making a necklace, just be sure to pick from the "necklace" options this time. You just have to spin the wool you get from the sheeps at a spinning wheel to turn it into a ball of wool.
